Seat back (plastic) with material glued to outsidel
Stripped driver's seat
Driver's door panel
I was able to save the chrome trim from the door panels and the door latch bezels.  We can certainly save the racetracks (chrome trim)...which is good, as replacements are $249/pair!
Window whiskers are one of many items needing replaced on door panels.
Top of steering column.  John, the car was definitely wrecked pretty hard at one time.  The steering column has been out before and top of the column has been welded back into place where the steering wheel was nearly broken off at one time.  Also, when I got into the dash, many of the mounting points are broken off.  Again, all of this points to a lot of damage from an earlier wreck.  Everything is repairable...just wasn't expecting to find some of this damage.
Here's another example of previous damage.  The turn signal unit was loose in the column...the mounting tabs are broken off from earlier damage.
Steering column laying on the bench
Here's a shot of the wheel...notice the different screw types in the horn assembly ring (from being apart before) and the missing plastic turn signal post.
We need to give some thought to the steering wheel.  It is cracked pretty badly.  I'd like to repair it in some way, as it is such a visible part of the interior.  Don't know what to recommend yet...but we'll come up with something.
Dash with the instrument cluster removed
Again, some residual damage from an earlier accident.  You can see the defroster duct loose...the mounting tabs are broken on the duct.
More broken plastic...  This is the grill cover for the side vent in the foot box.  If you look at the top left, you'll see where the vent cable is broken from the grill cover (broken on both sides).
Tachometer needle is broken.  I never found the orange needle...must have been taken out of the gauge at an earlier date???
A few shots of the dash area with the dash panel completely removed.  You can see the metal brace that holds the sides of the car together.  It's hard to believe how these cars stay together!
Instrument cluster on my bench.  Like other dash components, this has been out...several screws missing, etc...  Also, there is writing on the inside of the cluster, with a date...05-17-1972, at 46465 miles.  So, the car may have been rebuilt in 1972?
Here's your dash panels and the dash pads.
Who says a Corvette doesn't rust?  There was obviously a water leak on the passenger side (windshield area?)...the wire cover was rusted out, and some of the metal pieces have surface rust.
This is the handle that goes in the passenger side dash pad...it was broken...under all of the electrical tape that was wrapped on the dash pad.
Here's the bottom of the defroster duct...you can see it was broken off in an earlier wreck.
Here's photos of the car sans windshield
Here's a couple photos of the seam where the front fender top meets the windshield frame.
John - this is the most concerning issue for me right now...the gap on the driver's door.  I'm concerned that the door has been broken and cut back in a previous wreck.  The gap is huge at the top, and I cannot get it adjusted out.  I'll be honest I don't know what to do.  I certainly don't want to go to all of this work and have a door gap this wide!  I'm concerned the door's front edge may have been broken in a previous wreck and just sanded/filed back.  You can see the body filler runs right up to the wide gap location.
This is more damage on the driver's door...this photo is taken from outside the door...looking in through the window slot.  You can see the large hole that was broken through the door where the undercoat is gone.
Here's your windshield out of the car.  I plan to save the windshield.  It isn't cracked, but it does have a pretty heavy "mark" from a bad passenger wiper blade...I think I can buff it out with glass compound.
