Bonneville Land Speed Racing

Click here to see a summary of the 2004 Speed Week Event

The 2005 SPEED WEEK event was cancelled after 3 days due to an extremely rough
track surface.  On the event's first day, Rex Wright made a "test" pass in excess
of 200mph, but the race car suffered minor damage because of the rough conditions.
The course conditions have forced the team to wait until 2006 to pursue the course record.

Wright Racing headed for the salt in October for the 2006 FIA WORLD FINALS meet.  While traveling just west of Des Moines, Iowa, we got word a major storm had flooded the salt overnight, and the event had been cancelled.  Disappointed, but we'll try again in 2007!
